The present paper is an attempt to study the advantages and disadvantages of online learning. Online learning has
become an integral part of every student’s life. The sudden out break of a deadly virus caused Covid-19 Pandemic all
over the globe. This situation challenged the education system a cross the world and forced the educators and students
to an online mode of teaching and learning. Students learn in a totally virtual setting when they participate in online
learning. It is a type of internet-based learning that brings together students from various backgrounds and takes place
over time rather than in a typical classroom. A pedagogical revolution in how we teach and learn is being catalyzed by
online learning. The article discusses the relevance of online learning as well as its benefits and drawbacks.
