Abstract

Scientific research on the development of issues of optimization of gerontological care is traditionally conducted in the
field of somatic pathology and, to a lesser extent, in the field of dental care. Purpose of the study is to determine the
socio-hygienic dental status, the need for the elderly population in the "Center for the provision of special and social
services", the Great Patriotic War polyclinic and in the dental clinic of JSC NMU im. Asfendiyarov, Almaty, Kazakhstan.
