Abstract

A simple, Accurate, precise method was developed for the simultaneous estimation of the Formoterol and Aclidinium in Pharmacuetical dosage form. Chromatogram was run through Kromosil C18 250 x 4.6 mm, 5. Mobile phase containing Buffer 0.1% OPA: Acetonitrile taken in the ratio 55:45 was pumped through column at a flow rate of 0.8ml/min. Buffer used in this method was 0.1% OPA buffer. Retention time of Formoterol and Aclidinium were found to be 2.921 min and 2.402 min. %RSD of the Aclidinium and Formoterol were and found to be 0.5 and 0.4 respectively. %Recovery was obtained as 99.72 % and 99.71% for Aclidinium and Formoterol respectively. LOD, LOQ values obtained from regression equations of Aclidinium and Formoterol were 0.05, 0.16 and 1.40, 4.23 respectively. Regression equation of Formoterol is y = 69552x + 10314, and y = 41057x + 71071 of Aclidinium. Retention times were decreased and that run time was decreased, so the method developed was simple and economical that can be adopted in regular Quality control test in Industries.
